The Pilot Assistance Portfolio is being developed to support the emotional wellbeing of pilots.  This portfolio is based on a model that has been in operation in Canada and in the United States for more than twenty years.

The aim is to promote the wellbeing of pilots through awareness and the use of support structures to help facilitate problem resolution. Professional intervention can also be used if and where necessary.

Our core objective is to instill and safeguard an environment of support and confidentiality. The foundation of pilot assistance is the Peer-to-Peer Programme, i.e. pilots available to their peers as the need arises.

Should you be reviewing this site and feel you need to speak with a fellow pilot, we can be contacted in several ways:

• call one of the pilot assistants listed under the Peer-to-Peer menu
• contact us via email with your questions or comments
• call the ALPA office (+2711-3945310 o/h)
