FIU Chief Pilot/ Training Captain - 2009/12/08 17:55 Introduction
The Flight Inspection Unit (FIU) of the SACAA operates a Cessna Citation C550 SII (ZA-CAR) to perform the in-flight inspection of aviation navigational aids within the RSA and in some SADC states.

The FIU requires a suitable candidate for the role of FIU Chief Pilot for the FIU's Part 121 AOC operation. It is envisaged that the FIU Pilot will be a full time position. Candidates are welcome to apply for the above role after which a selection of qualified individual will be made by the SACAA from the applicants.

Minimum Qualifications
* Current South African ATP licence with minimum Grade II Instructor Rating.
* Minimum of 3500 hours total time, 750 hours command on turbine multi-engine aircraft with 200 hours on type.
* Two years managerial experience would be desirable.
